During the twelve-month promotion period, the company’s traditionally made Kent Peg Tiles will be available at the same price as its clay plain tiles.
Made
from the finest English natural clay, these sand-faced Peg Tiles have a gentle
double camber and meticulous detailing, making them ideal for specialised
historical renovation and restoration
work.
With their warm, subtle
tones and variation in shape and texture, they carefully recreate the time
weathered look of the ancient
peg tiles of Kent, which have been part of the English architectural landscape
since the 13th century.
Not surprisingly, for many
architects and conservationists, they are now becoming the preferred
alternative to sourcing expensive second hand reclaimed tiles.
Manufactured using traditional craftsmanship, each
tile is hand pressed, moulded and trimmed, and then strengthened by advanced
firing techniques to give the final product exceptional performance and
durability which, unlike second hand reclaim tiles, is performance
guaranteed for many years to come.
Both square and round peg holes
can be made to accommodate a variety of wooden or metal pegs, and bespoke tile options will ensure that most
restoration projects can be undertaken.

All Tudor roof tiles are CE marked to EN 1304:2005(E)

‘variegated’ colourways.
